Try Customized Marketing For Your Wholesale Business

As a savvy business person, you know you are on the ball when it comes to marketing – you take out ads, you have a great, intuitive, easy to navigate website, and a growing list of email addresses that you send promotions and sale notifications to on a regular basis. You have business cards. Perhaps you even do direct mail marketing campaigns, mailing out fliers or notices to people – whether it's individuals or companies, if you are involved in business to business wholesale.
But as a savvy business person, you know you should also always be looking for ways to make your marketing more effective. More effective marketing brings in more customers and clients, and that, in turn, brings more sales and profits. And one way to make your marketing more effective is to make it customized.
This works really well with mailings. If you are doing those mailings, you are on the right track, but you can take your mailings to the next level and gain even more sales by taking a little more time with them and applying some customization to each. Customized marketing via the mail is a great way to take the power of regular mail marketing campaigns and ratchet it up a few notches.
Instead of sending the same flier and price list out to everyone, with customized marketing, you personalize the material to suit the individual or company you are addressing. You will, of course, send out the flier and price list, but you should also include a short note or report that tells that individual (company or consumer) how you and your products can specifically help them. This works best with business to business, because it's easier to tell a business why they need to buy your cleaning products wholesale or why they need to purchase your wholesale jewelry to sell in their retail stores than it is to tell an individual the same thing, but it can be done.
Address them specifically and point out one or two things that you know you can provide them with. Keep it short and friendly, and you will find taking this extra step gives you an extra edge, because the recipient will be both pleased to see that you've taken the time and attention AND will also see specifically what products you offer that they need and why. It will take some extra time out of your day, yes, but the results you see from it will be well worth it.
